The TAP by Echo1 is an enhanced 4.3 Hi Capa style pistol that features a monolithic look with an integral compensator and length-matched frame. The compensator is integral to the barrel which the front sight is mounted to. A typical slide would have the front sight mounted to it and move as you fire. To enhance sight acquisition, the TAP mounts the sight to the barrel/compensator instead. As you fire, the slide will move and the front sight will stay stationary, giving you the fastest acquisition and give you an easier time finding your sight picture in rapid shooting.
